Whitefish Attractions:

Glacier National Park

Created in 1910, Glacier National Park provides over one million acres of habitat and protection for a wonderful variety of wildlife and wildflowers. Historic lodges preserve the ambience of nineteenth century travel for twentieth century visitors.Glacier National Park Tours are available along the historic Going-To-The-Sun Highway in 1936 Red Jammer Coaches. A narrated circle tour details the history of the glaciers, major mountain peaks, climate zones, wildlife, flora and mountain lore. Choose from any of these circle tours: Logan Pass, Rising Sun, St. Mary and Many Glacier. It would take more space then we are capable of displaying here to describe this attraction. We suggest that you visit http://www.nps.gov/glac/home.htmfor more information.

Great Northern

If you visit Whitefish make sure to plan a stop at "The Great Northern Brewing Company". Here you will meet Kevin Guercio the "Minister of Lager, Sultan of Suds, Chieften of Cheeriness". He is the "Tender of the Bar" at the Great Northern Brewing Companies tasting room, which is open daily from 12:00 noon until 6:00 PM in the summer. Here you may taste test (up to four) samples of this fantastic beer! We told you Whitefish was a friendly place! Stop bye, enjoy, and tell your friends when you will be there so that they can see you, at the bar, with your friends, on "The Great Northern Brewing Companies Web Cam".

Your guide swiftly maneuvers the raft through Class II and Class III rapids. Departures include half-day, full day with lunch or an evening riverside BBQ cookout. Great full day combinations, such as half-day horseback riding with a half-day of whitewater rafting, or a half-day of guided hiking in Glacier National Park then half-day of whitewater rafting. Multi-overnight combinations are also available.
