Participate in a ranger guided or self-guided walking or
auto tour of the town or battlefield. See highlights of the battle such
as the numerous earthworks, the site of Washington's Headquarters,
Surrender Field, the Moore House (scene of surrender negotiations),
the Nelson House (home to Governor Thomas Nelson, Jr., signer of
the Declaration of Independence), the Yorktown Victory Monument
and the many historic homes in the town of York.

Water Country USA
The mid-Atlantic's largest water play park, features water rides,
slides and entertainment -- all set to a 1950s and '60s surf theme.
New in 1998, Water Country USA unveils Nitro Racer--a
super-speed slide guaranteed to stir up a little cool water
competition. Guests can drag race down a 382-foot long drop
toward a refreshing finish.
The park offers attractions for guests of
all ages including an interactive kids' area, H20 UFO. Whether it's a
relaxing float down the majestic Rambling River or a colossal rafting
adventure on Big Daddy Falls, Water Country USA offers a
fun-filled day for the entire family.

JAMESTOWN SETTLEMENT
Relive the adventure of America's first permanent English colony.
Extensive galleries and a dramatic film bring history to life. Outdoors,
board replicas of the settlers' ships, explore a recreated colonial fort and
discover the world of Pocahontas in a Powhatan Indian village.
Costumed interpreters are your guides to the past, helping you try your
