Another Noteefy Plaudit

You may wonder why I occasionally report about Noteefy.

It’s largely because, after 30-plus years helping lead one of the world’s largest operators of golf courses, country clubs and resorts, I wish Noteefy was at my disposal.

Unfortunately for me, it launched only a year ago.  Fortunately, for today’s generation of course owner-operators, it’s a marketing and operational lifesaver that’s here to stay.

The easy description:  Noteefy is the OpenTable and Resy product for golfers.

Summarily, golfers seeking tee times which are already reserved or not yet available, receive personalized, real-time text and e-mail alerts when their desired slots open due to cancellations or availability releases.  They then promptly book tee times online, so they don’t miss opportunities to play.

Thanks to Noteefy, daily-fee courses which are full, remain full.  Courses with less traffic don’t lose tee times they can’t afford to lose.  Country clubs show members what real service-orientation is, mitigating past disappointments of not being able to play when they want to play.

Automation practicality and revenue generation 101.

Noteefy serves most of the 10 largest multi-course operators across America.  The latest is Touchstone Golf that is rolling out Noteefy’s cutting-edge, automated tee time waitlist solution portfolio wide.

More than 500 golf course and resort operators engage gofers to book tee times that otherwise would have gone unsold.  They include “neighborhood” courses as well as Cabot Citrus Farms, Chambers Bay, Whistling Straits, Streamsong, TPC Scottsdale and other destination properties.  Many operations realize a $250,000-plus boost from Noteefy in its first six months with the product.

Folks, that’s a lot of courses succeeding with Noteefy in a short period of time.

Back to Touchstone Golf: “Our mission is to be outstanding for our valued customers, and Noteefy helps us achieve that,” said company Vice President of Marketing Ashley Van Dissel.  “Increased accessibility for golfers leads to better business performance for our courses.”

The Noteefy booking assistant is seamlessly integrated with Touchstone courses’ branding and point-of-sale / tee sheet systems.  This automation eliminates the manual nature of re-booking tee times, allowing staff to focus on other high-priority tasks.

“We are excited to support Touchstone by facilitating the tee time booking process, enabling customers to play more and search online and call pro shops less,” said Jake Gordon, Founder and CEO of Noteefy.  “It’s rewarding to see courses fill a substantial number of tee times that would’ve otherwise perished.”

Research indicates up to 20% of tee times are canceled and not re-booked, resulting in an average of $50,000 in lost revenue annually per course. Optimizing topline potential is the ticket.

Where were you, Noteefy, during my prime years?
