Antigua1Antigua’s Spring 2016 golf apparel collection has been announced and the look and feel of these new garments will have a lot of golfers taking a serious look at this stalwart company. Here are some of the highlights we saw:

Antigua’s Men’s Noble Polo is crafted from their Desert Dry moisture-wicking jersey knit yarn which is a 46% nylon/46% polyester/8% spandex blend. The 3-button placket and flat knit color offer a subtle contrast to the mini-stripe design. The Antigua name and logo are embroidered on the left sleeve and there is a triangle patch affixed to the sleeve. The material is very light and Desert Dry keeps you dry and fresh. The Noble Polo is available in sizes S-3XL and in some pretty well-named colors: Black/Dark Gray, Hypnotic/Cosmos (my favorite color names), Sunburst/Lemon, Light Grey/White, Fire/Coral, Verdant/Jasper, Mardi Gras/Violet. Retail price is $70.

Antigua2The Men’s Pure Polo uses a slightly different blended fabric than the Noble polo – an 88% polyester/12% spandex blend. It has the same properties – Desert Dry moisture-wicking jersey knit. The Pure Polo also features a self-fabric collar and 3-button packet with tonal heather inside the neck. As with the Noble Polo, the Antigua name and logo are embroidered on the left sleeve and there is a triangle patch affixed to the sleeve. The material is silky smooth and holds its shape after multiple washings. The Pure Polo is available in sizes S-3XL and in several stunning colors: White, Black, Verdant, Fire, Hypnotic, Mardi Gras and Sunburst. Retail price is $65.

Antigua3The Women’s Preen Pullover is a 100% polyester jacquard knit, half zip pullover. It features long sleeves and a zippered placket with a contrasting color when unzipped and a right arm pocket. The is contrast stitching detail around the arm holes, arm pocket and bottom hem. There are two deep hip pockets to keep valuables safe and secure. For branding, there is an embroidered Antigua logo on the left shoulder and a triangle patch on the right sleeve. It’s available in sizes S-XL (depending on color) and in several striking color combinations: Purple Haze/Limestone Heather, Papaya/Graphite Heather and Black/Heather. Retail price is $79.

Antigua4The Women’s Attain Performance Polo is a combination of traditional style and modern design. It’s constructed with Antigua’s 100% polyester Desert Dry Xtra-Lite D2XL moisture-wicking material, a fabric that ensures a dry, comfortable fit that will last you well beyond eighteen holes. It’s very lightweight and features an allover stripe pattern; the knit ribbed cuffs and collar offer a nice complimentary look. The 5-button placket allows the ladies to “customize” their coverage during the round. The embroidered Antigua logo graces the left shoulder and there’s a triangle patch on the right sleeve. The Attain Performance Polo is available in sizes S-XL and in 4 colors: Black, Papaya, Electric and Purple Haze. Retail price is $60.

Antigua5Antigua’s Cinch Skort features elastic tie details, giving it amazing cinching capabilities. When this aspect of the skort is combined with the spandex blend in the material, you have a skort that allows tremendous freedom of movement and a super sexy look. You can easily crouch down to look over your putt or bend over to pull the ball out of the hole after sinking that long putt. The 92/8% poly/spandex fabric features Desert Dry Xtra-Lite D2XL with extreme moisture wicking capabilities that will keep you dry and comfortable while the attached undershorts offer good coverage. The self-fabric waistband with shirring adds a nice look to an already stunning garment. The Cinch Skort is available in sizes S-XL and in 5 colors: Black, White, Hypnotic, Fire and Mardi Gras. This is my wife’s favorite piece of Antigua golf apparel. Retail price is $50.

Antigua has really stepped up their game with the 2016 Spring Collection; this is no longer your grandparent’s clothing. Styles are eye catching and sure to turn the heads of men and women alike; colors are bold and intimidating. Best of all, the pieces are easy to match and pair well with many different offerings.
