Birdies and Bows – Stylish Ladies Golf Apparel For Ladies on the Go!

1158

Ladies’ apparel company Birdies and Bows was the brainchild of Lori Wood and the company’s beginning bear a strong resemblance to something my wife tells me often, “I’ve got nothing to wear,” as she stands in her oversized closet overflowing with all kinds of apparel! Of course, who am I to argue?

Her frustrations began on Ladies’ Day at her local club; she was tired of never being able to find great-fitting golf attire for women. The local clubs and shops didn’t carry any golf apparel that she considered to be trendy or fashionable. All they offered was golf apparel that she could wear on the course but wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing to the grocery store or to get the kids at school. Lori wanted something that was figure-flattering, moved with her, looked good, and could be worn on or off the course. With a strong background in sewing and a drive for adventure, Birdies, and Bows was born. And the rest, as they say, is history!

Birdies and Bows’ Fall 2022 Collection features ladies’ tops and bottoms that have great moisture-wicking properties and UPF 30 sun protection woven into the fabric. Their clothing is figure flattering and is designed for women of all shapes and sizes. For the most part, all garments are available in sizes XS – XXL. They have a great logo too, a cute little birdie with a big ole bow on its head!

The Rim Cup Golf Polo in a Water Waves print is a part of their new Classic Collection. The contrasting mock collar with a button placket adds a stylish look. This sleeveless polo pairs well with Birdies and Bows’ new Drive It Golf Skort Long. This pull-on skort with elastic waistband creates a flattering look and the 2 front and two back pockets provide ample storage. There’s also a hidden front hip pocket. The knit brief shorties are sewn in and the silicone grippers keep everything where it should be. The new pattern and color Black with Water Waves allows you to tie in several polo top options. It’s available in a variety of sizes and is great for teams.

Show as much neckline as you dare with the Lob Shot Polo in a Beached Bars print. It’s their newest golf polo and has a fun flirty double layered sleeve and contrast piping at the neck. The print features a block diagonal front panel with a contrasting pattern on one side and a solid back panel. It’s designed to be worn with the Straight & Narrow Golf Skort – Beached Bars print. This flattering skort features a pull-on design with an elastic waistband and knit shorties sewn in with silicone grippers to keep everything in place. There’s a hidden front hip pocket and the two front and two back pockets provide ample storage space for all of your golf essentials and the Beached Bars print shouts FUN! Loudly!

Another vibrant, flattering skort from Birdies and Bows is their new Straight and Narrow Skort. This trendy new pattern features the same pull-on design and elastic waistband that creates a slimming effect and silicone gripper tape to help everything stay put. The Aced Animal trim on the sides lets you tie in several coordinating polo tops. There’s two front and two back pockets for all of your golf goodies and a secret hidden pocket on the hip.

Cold mornings call for warm garments and Birdies and Bows’ Front Nine Full-Zip Jacket is perfect to keep off the morning chill. The front pockets are big enough to store your cell phone, car keys, and that cash you borrowed from his wallet. Some styles feature micro pleating detail at the center back with a contrasting color. The Front Nine Jacket is available in either Hot Pink or Medium Blue with Hot Pink contrasts.

This is just a small sample of what Birdies and Bows has in store for the ladies this fall. You can see the complete collection at www.birdiesandbows.com.
