Champ Zarma Spikes – Get a (Better) Grip

2473

When the folks over at Champ Spikes asked me to review their new Zarma spikes I thought – really, aren’t they all the same?

champWhat I found after replacing my existing spikes (whose make shall remain nameless) was that I couldn’t have been more wrong; these spikes DID make a difference. I seemed to have a better grip over various types of ground (yes, there is no telling where the ball is going sometimes) and, more importantly, they provided added comfort.

Now, you will probably notice that these Zarma spikes seem to give you a little spring in your step. That’s by design; the CHAMP Zarma spikes include a traction element that is constructed of durable abrasion resistant urethane and a comfort element of a soft resilient shock absorbing material that attaches to a rigid base element which incorporates the fastener. As with the complete line of the CHAMP spikes, the CHAMP Zarma has a wear indicator to let golfers know when it’s time for a new set.

Harris MacNeill, president and CEO of CHAMP / MacNeill Engineering has been quoted as saying “We have spent a great deal of time perfecting this spike to offer our customers additional comfort. I have no doubt that the Champ Zarma spike will be the one new product that changes golfer’s expectations for traction which in turn will change their games”. The patent on the product is still pending.

The new Champ Zarma Spikes are available at most of the top golf retailers as well as many online golf stores. For more information on the product you can visit the website at www.champspikes.com.
