Chase54 Spring 2016 – You’ve Got to Feel It to Believe It

Chase 54 Spring 2016-2 Since being introduced to the Chase54 brand a few years ago at a PGA Show in Orlando, FL, I have been amazed at the products they continue to put out. One would think that there is nothing new, that is, nothing to be gained, on the technology front for golf apparel. After all, what’s left to accomplish?

But the folks at Chase54 continue to push the envelope and bring apparel technology to a new level with each collection they come out with. Or so it seems. Unlike their competitors, Chase54 is constantly reinvesting into developing new technology. Their goal is to take fabrics and technology to such heights that there will be no one who can compete. In the end, their research, innovation and craftsmanship deliver the ultimate fusion of style and performance. Case in point is the company’s new FUSION54 family of technologies which provide for a comfortable – and stylish – look, regardless of what mother nature throws your way. Here’s our take on a few pieces they sent us:

The Men’s Dillon Shorts and Sandler Shorts from Chase54 are two of the most comfortable golf shorts I have ever worn. And they look good too. Both feature the company’s patented DRYFUZE technology to wick away sweat and moisture. The mechanical stretch of the fabric lets these shorts move with you throughout the golf swing, eliminating any pinching or binding and the gripper tape on the waistband helps to keep them in place as well. Deep pockets all the way around keep your valuables safe and secure and the Chase54 logo is affixed to the back right pocket. The Dillon Shorts are available in a Fog color which is highlighted with thin black and gray stripes, giving them a classic look. The Sandler Shorts are available in a navy micro-plaid pattern. Both are available in waist sizes 30-40. Retail price on the Dillon Shorts is $80; the Sandler Shorts will set you back $84.

Chase 54 Spring 2016-1Your fellow golfers will be drawn to the colorful abstract print of the Men’s Affleck Polo. Chase54’s DRYFUZE technology will keep you dry throughout your round and the +40 UPF will keep you safe from the sun’s harmful rays. The Affleck Polo stretches and moves with you throughout the golf swing and the seams are reinforced with topstitching. The collar will always keep its shape and look fresh with removable powder coated collar stays. The Affleck Polo is available in sizes M-XXL and in a French Blue color which pairs well with the Dillon Shorts. Retail price is $80.

From a design and technology standpoint the Men’s Getaway Long Sleeve Polo features the same properties and characteristics of its short sleeve cousin the Affleck polo. Because of the DRYFUZE technology, the long sleeves provide added coverage and won’t make you sweat more on warm spring days, so if it’s chilly at the start of the round but warming up on the back nine, this polo will work well. The Getaway Long Sleeve Polo is available in two colors: Navy & Rosewood and in sizes M-XXL. Retail price is $92.

The Women’s Olivia Golf Pants are woven from a Jacquard knit bouclé fabric, making it a little heavier and perfect for cool spring mornings. It also gives the garment a unique and upscale look. The black and white fabric has a herringbone look to it and the Olivia Golf Pants feature a curved, solid black waistband with belt loops that provides a flattering fit. The 29” legs are tapered and the tuxedo-style stripe on each leg creates a slimming effect. Zippered front pockets and two back pockets, the right with the Chase54 badge on it complete the look. The Olivia Golf Pants are available in sizes 2-18. Retail price is $ 92. These pants were made to go with the Elin Full Zip Chase 54 Spring 2016Golf Jacket. The Elin also features the Jacquard knit bouclé fabric panels in the front, on the back and on the collar and cuffs which creates a flattering fit. The contrast solid trim fabric on the sides and arms has a soft feel to it and the thumbholes help keep the wind away and keep you warm. These two garments worn together are definitely going to turn some heads. The Elin Full Zip Jacket is available in sizes XS-XXL. Retail price is $106. Tiger’s ex would be proud of the jacket that bears her name.

The Women’s NAYA Shorts from Chase54 feature the company’s DRYFUZE technology with supreme moisture-wicking capabilities. These shorts feature a 21” outseam and a curved waistband for a flattering fit. The NAYA Shorts are available in Super Pink and in sizes 2-18. Retail price is $84.

Chase54’s Women’s Hilary 3.4 Sleeve Polo also uses DRYFUZE moisture-wicking technology to keep you dry throughout the round and boasts a UPF rating of +40, keeping you safe from the sun’s harmful rays. The Hilary Polo provides a flattering fit while the contrast print trim adds a touch of elegance. The Hilary 3.4 Sleeve Polo is available in Super Pink and in sizes XS-XXL. Retail price is $80.

All in all, Chase54 has created a stellar lineup of both men’s and women’s golf apparel for Spring 2016; I can’t wait to see what they do for the fall. To see the entire collection of this springs hottest designs and fabrics, visit their website at www.chase54.com.
