OK, Tail Activewear’s leggings are not exactly made and marketed for golf. They are actually part of their tennis apparel collections. However, lady golfers get cold too, especially in the early spring and late fall golf seasons. We sampled five pair of leggings from Tail Activewear; some had side pockets, which are perfect by themselves for golf. Others had no pockets, meaning they are great paired with a matching skort. All are available in sizes XS – XXL.

Tail’s Alsey Leggings are made from their compression jersey material. Dot mesh inserts on the bottom half of the legs help keep you cool in warm weather. The flattering brush space dyed fabric has just the right amount of stretch making them an instant favorite for wearing around town or a round of golf.  The side pockets are large enough for all of a golfer’s necessities. There’s also a small pocket on the inside of the waistband. The Alsey Leggings are available in a Light Grey Space Dye fabric. Retail price is $63.

Tail offers several other pair of leggings with pockets including the Danvers and Casey Leggings. The Danvers Leggings are available in an Agility Grey Print with White and Black. They are sewn from Tail’s compression performance jersey fabric and the 87% Polyester/13% Spandex material has all of the stretch a gal needs. UPF 50 sun protection keeps the sun’s harmful rays at bay. Retail price is $63.

The Casey Leggings are also sewn from a black compression jersey material with a performance heathered fabric sewn into the side of the legs. Two mesh inserts in each leg keep you cool on hot days and a small inside pocket is suitable for a ball, marker and tee. The compression fit will help you keep it all together. Retail price is $63.

The Miley Leggings are also sewn from Tail’s 87% Polyester/13% Spandex compression jersey fabric and feature mesh inserts just below the knee to help keep you cool. Galaxy print panels of Purple, Black and White are sewn into the sides creating a cosmic look. Retail price is $63.

Another pocketless leggings design is the Charleston Leggings. These compression leggings are sewn from a performance jersey material which wicks moisture away from the body quickly. UPF 50 keeps you protected from the sun. The Charleston Leggings are available in a Deco Neutral color with Black and Begonia. Retail price is $59.
