WYNTK:
Last winter when Honma Golf brought the TR20V (players category) and TR20P (players distance category) irons to market the expectation was we would be seeing the blade model made for their tour players and now it’s here in the TR20B.

“It’s important that Honma delivers a purpose-built iron design that both fits and excites players within every skill set. With the TR20B, skilled players who rely on accuracy and true feel now have more than just another boring blade. The TR20B brings inspiration every time you pull it out of your bag or set it on the ground. It’s a thing of beauty as well as top-end performance,” said Honma’s General Manager Chris McGinley.

The TR20B (Tour Response 20 Blade) are good-looking forged muscle backs with both progressive blade length and bounce with the higher lofts have more bounce than the longer lofts. These blades, according to the company are ideal for making blended sets when combined with the TR20V or TR20P filling in the long iron slots.

“The pyramid design on the back of the TR20B honors beautifully-crafted Honma iron designs from the past, both aesthetically and in the way that our Takumi can control the club’s center of gravity by adjusting the height of pyramid shape and, thereby, the amount and location of that section’s mass on the muscleback configuration,” said Mark Myrhum, Director of Global Products.
