Lamkin – leading manufacturer of premium golf grips – is celebrating its 95th anniversary by offering one FREE swinging grip, including installation, to all golfers through the “Upgrade with Lamkin” program, beginning February 1 and running throughout 2020.

To redeem a voucher for the free grip, golfers will simply visit www.lamkingrips.com/upgrade and take a brief quiz that will help identify which Lamkin grips are best suited for their games. Upon the completion of the quiz players can print a voucher and redeem it at participating retailers (full list included on the Lamkin website) who will install their grip of choice at no charge. Additionally, Lamkin will offer a second free grip to anyone who purchases and installs eight or more Lamkin grips. The offer does not apply to putter grips.

“For 95 years, Lamkin has been synonymous with quality and performance. While being the grip of choice for many OEMs we realize that consumers may not be aware they have been playing and satisfied with Lamkin grips for many years. The Upgrade with Lamkin campaign allows golfers to feel the difference at no cost or obligation,” says Bob Lamkin, CEO of Lamkin. “It is a thank you to all those who have supported us over the years, from golfers of all skill levels who trust our products to our tremendous retail partners.”

To celebrate Lamkin’s 95th anniversary and the “Upgrade with Lamkin” program (also known as Regrip America for the trade) the company has launched a brand new website (www.lamkingrips.com) and a digital swinging grip fitting system. Golfers select their preferences among five variables (weather conditions, swing speed, preference for feel, tack and traction) and the Lamkin AI algorithm suggests 3 grips from the 2020 line up that players should explore.

All swinging grips from the 2020 line-up are available through “Upgrade with Lamkin,” including the recently launched ST line and Calibrate Technology grips. The ST (Smooth Tack) features Lamkin’s latest formulation of the company’s Genesis Material to create a comfortable surface far more durable than standard rubber and maintaining its characteristics in any temperature. Calibrate Technology creates the most prominent reminder spine of any grip ever produced by Lamkin to help optimize hand placement, club face awareness, control, and feel for better shot-making.

In addition to the Free Grip program Lamkin is supporting retail partners with point of sale material, technology solutions to enhance effectiveness and a strong TV and Digital marketing program.

Lamkin’s growing list of ambassadors includes PGA TOUR superstar Justin Rose, women’s long drive phenom Troy Mullins, renowned instructor Travis Fulton and many social media brand ambassadors who recognize the superior performance of Lamkin grips. They are among a large and growing number of professional and amateur players and influencers around the globe who rely on Lamkin grips to enhance their game. The brand has established its excellent reputation for unrivaled quality thanks to world-class engineering, premium materials and handcrafted, repeatable production techniques.
