Loudmouth Golf – Make Your Own Statement!

1333

Are you the type of person that likes to be seen, when you’re out on the golf course? Do you want to make a statement while you’re out there? Have you got the game to back it up?

If you answered yes to these questions, then Loudmouth golf is a golf apparel company that can help you achieve your means to an end; at least with the first two. They can’t fix your swing or make you hit the ball further or sink more putts, but they can provide you with good looking functional golf apparel that will – believe you me – get you noticed.

For those of you not familiar with the company – which is hard to believe if you have ever picked up a golf club – Loudmouth Golf was founded in 2000 by Scott “Woody” Woodworth. His first design was a pair of pants with prints of few Warner Brothers cartoon characters. The apparel caught the attention of several sports personalities who ordered the pants and the rest as they say is history. In 2009, PGA TOUR professional John Daly began wearing the company’s clothing while playing on the European Tour and to this day is still the Brand Ambassador. Celebrities who have been seen sporting the brand include Alice Cooper, Bill Murray, Will Ferrell, and Dennis Rodman; no surprise there! Loudmouth has also been seen on several TV shows: Showtime’s Dexter, Disney’s Austin & Ally, Saturday Night Live, CW’s One Tree Hill and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

It’s been almost 20 years and the company still continues to put out new, eye catching fabrics that are sure to turn heads. Two of my new favorites are the Strawberry Short Game and the Time Machine. I’m not sure who names the fabrics, but they all seem relevant! I picked up a pair of Strawberry Short Game Shorts and a pair of Time Machine pants along with a Time Machine Skort for my wife, after all, happy wife, happy life!

The fabric and features for both are the same: Loudmouth’s StretchTech Poly fabric, which provides the utmost in style and comfort and wicks moisture away from your skin, keeping you cool and dry. They fit true to size, so if all your other shorts are a 34 waist, these will be too. All Loudmouth men’s shorts and pants have a two-button tabbed front closure with a zippered fly, belt loops on the waist and two front and back pockets that are deep enough to keep that lucky ball marker safe and secure. There’s an “LM” logo embroidered just above the left back pocket.

The women’s skorts are sewn from the same StretchTech fabric and have a side zip closure and spandex shorts underneath for added coverage. They offer a mid-rise fit, about 2” below the natural waistline and have a slight A-line shape which is quite flattering. Two slanted front pockets and 2 back pockets offer all the room you’ll need for your golf goodies.  There’s an “LM” logo embroidered just above the left back pocket.

Guys (and the wonderful women who sometimes do their laundry) love these shorts because they’re so easy to care for. Just machine wash on cold and hang to dry or throw them in the dryer like I do.  The fabric is wrinkle free, shrink free and fade free; what else could you ask for? Best of all, the colors are bold, bright and fun; that’s why you buy them! The Strawberry Short Game print is a quasi-paisley in pink with hints of black and white, which makes it a lot easier to pair with a solid polo. The Time Machine print may be a little harder to match up; the base colors are orange, purple and navy. They hypnotic design is truly eye catching.

We are getting ready to leave Florida, where Loudmouth seems to be socially acceptable and are heading to Crossville, Tennessee where I will either fit in or start a new trend. Wish me luck!
