Loudmouth Golf – The Woodworth Collection

loudmouth-woodworth2For years, Loudmouth Golf has produced some of the, well, loudest, golf apparel on the market. The shorts and pants were made from a cotton/Spandex blend and didn’t possess any of the properties found in the newer high-tech fabrics. When you sweat bullets, everyone knew it.
Recently, Loudmouth Golf launched their own line of performance golf wear. The Woodworth Golf Collection, named after founder Woody Woodworth, is Loudmouth’s foray into the world of high-quality, performance-driven fabrics and innovative garment technologies. The result is a collection of highly visible golf apparel that features a modern fit that is comfortable and breathable. It also does a great job of wicking moisture away. Loudmouth’s patented TekFIT waistband provides the comfort by offering 1-2″ of invisible stretch through a patented compaction and fusing technology. The TekFIT waistband also has gripper tape, which keeps everything where it should be throughout the entire round.

Currently, pattern selection in the Woodworth Collection is limited. Men can choose shorts and pants in five different patterns; women can choose skorts in three different designs. I chose the Particle Accelerator shorts, a bright (that’s an understatement) red, white and black pattern that pairs well with a solid polo in any of those three colors. The fit is great and perfect for the post tournament buffet!

Nowadays, Loudmouth makes a lot more than bottoms for men and women. Their fully rounded lineup now loudmouth-woodworth1includes the full color spectrum of solid polos for both men and women as well as some of their more popular designs. There’s also a good selection of pullovers and hoodies as well as accessories such as belts, caps and visors.
Many of the older (and newer) prints are available on a Made-To-Order basis, just in case you can’t find the size you want. Many other garments – knickers, vests, sport coats and bow ties – are available on an MO basis as well.
All of these designs are available on the website at www.LoudmouthGolf.com. While you’re on the site, be sure to check out Jon Daly’s section and get an idea of how he is lighting up – or enlightening – the Champion’s Tour with his Loudmouth attire.
