The staff at the Marriott Baton Rouge work as one, like a well-oiled machine.   They go above and beyond, almost seeking out opportunities to stand out as the best hotel staff in the area.  Whether it’s a member of the maintenance crew offering to assist you with your laundry needs, or Ike; a man that seemed to be everywhere all the time; making sure your every need was met.  After a long day out on two of BREC’s golf courses, that just happened to be my birthday, my wife and I returned to the hotel only to be greeted with a birthday surprise.  As it turns out, my wife had made a quick call to Ike to let him know it was a special day. When we returned to the hotel, I was presented with a special “cake” and a rousing chorus of happy birthday. Manager Ralph Ney has assembled a very special crew.
