Since 1987, OGIO International, Inc. has been designing and manufacturing backpacks and various travel luggage as well as men’s and women’s golf bags. The company was founded in 1987 in Bluffdale, Utah by Mike Pratt, a self-proclaimed thrill-seeker and frustrated inventor who needed an outlet for his ideas. His first innovation was a sport bag designed to work like a locker. It was a simple concept, yet showed some outside-the-box thinking for an industry reluctant to change.

Fortunately for Pratt, Nordstrom bought into him and his vision and the company was born. It wasn’t until the founder and his new design team brought about serious change in such niche “X Game” categories as motocross, snowboarding, golf, skateboarding, and surfing that the company began to take off and expand into other markets such as golf attire and footwear. Nowadays, OGIO sponsors some of the world’s finest extreme sports athletes, all of whom choose to use OGIO gear. They include the likes of Travis Pastrana, Eric Koston, and Bob Burnquist.

A few years ago, Ogio decided to enter the highly competitive world of golf apparel. They played off of their X Game expertise and offered clothing with a unique look and spoke to a certain lifestyle. Clothing that can be worn to the course, to the office or out on the town. These days, their apparel can be found on the backs (and bottoms) of such PGA Tour stars as Aaron Baddeley, Ben Kohles, Chris Stroud and Kevin Streelman

Here are a couple of items from Ogio’s Spring 2015 Collection that caught our eye.:intersectionpant_blkslatechrome

Ogio’s Intersection Pants are 100% polyester and feature a lightweight twill with a mechanical stretch allowing you to bend in any direction and make that unbelievable shot. The Ogio Intersection Pant is both fashionable and functional and will have you standing out in the crowd – but not in a bad way. You can where these pants with confidence either on or off the course. Intersection Pants are available two color combinations – black/slate/chrome and chrome/slate/black and many size combinations. The Tint Polo from Ogio will have you looking sharp and staying cool during your round. This 100% polyester polo is very breathable and Ogio’s moisture-wicking technology not tint_plumonly keeps your skin dry, but the anti-bacterial fabric guards against odor.
