Ogio Spring 2016-4Ogio may not be a household brand name in the golf apparel industry, but they are working hard at it. Their new Spring 2016 Collection of men’s golf clothing shows the breakthroughs in designs and technology, and they’ve really stepped up their game this year with the vivid colors that are available. Take for instance the Valance polo which will definitely get you seen and it may even be loud enough to get you heard! The Valance Polo is a 100% polyester printed design on the front which gives way to a solid colored back, that not only wicks moisture away quickly, it also prevents odor and protects you from the sun. It has enough stretch to move with you through every phase of the golf swing. The contrasting 4-button placket, anti-roll polo collar and sleeves help to offset the design, which is bold and makes a statement. The Ogio logo is embroidered just below the placket. The Valance Polo is available in sizes S-XXL and in Chrome/Black, Pacific/Black, Solar Flare/Black, Aurora/Slate and White/Mandarin. Retail price is $65.

If the Valance Polo doesn’t wake you up, then try the Atrix. The bright colors and striped design of this polo may induce flashback with some of the former hippie set. Myself – it’s one of my favorites. The way the stripes are designed is eye-catching and the moisture wicking fabric Ogio Spring 2016-3keeps you cool and dry, while other technical properties of the shirt keep you smelling fresh and protected from the sun. The 4-way stretch fabric on the Atrix Polo moves with you throughout the entire golf swing and the anti-roll button down collar and four button placket add a nice contrasting look. The welted chest pocket has a clean look, and the button keeps the contents safe and secure. The hems of the sleeves are trimmed nicely with a solid ribbed fabric on the back and the OGIO name embroidered on the right sleeve. There’s also an embroidered Ogio logo on the back yoke. The Atrix Polo is available in sizes M-XXL and in three colorways: Grape/Chrome, Hawaiian/Chrome, Slate/Tango. Retail price is $75. This polo’s got it all.

The Knockdown Short is anotheOgio Spring 2016-1r favorite, mainly because of the colors it comes in. Plus, the polyester twill fabric is easy to care for: just machine wash and tumble dry. These shorts are lightweight and moisture wicking too, plus they don’t pinch or bind during the golf swing and the gripper gel waistband keeps everything where it should be. They’re moisture wicking too, so you’ll stay cool and dry throughout your round. Two deep front pockets and two welted back pockets keep your stuff safe; there’s even a media pocket on the right leg for your electronics! This is a short that can be worn on the course or to any type of casual event. The Knockdown Short is available in waist sizes 30-40 and in several colors: Chrome/Black, Black/Chrome, Slate/Black, White/Black and my favorite: Electric/Black. Retail price is $70.

Another eye-catching design from Ogio are the Intersection Shorts, which are alsOgio Spring 2016-2o available as pants. The black, white and gray print pattern is sure to elicit a few comments. They are 100% polyester, so you’ll stay cool and dry on the course and the stretch in the fabric makes sure these shorts go where you go. The front pockets are deep with tricot liners and the welted back pockets add a nice, clean look. They’re very easy to care for, moving them up a guy’s favorite shorts list. The Intersection Shorts are available in waist sizes 30-40 and in either Gray or Black. Retail price is $70.

With the Spoiler Pullover, cool whether never felt – or looked – so good. Maybe it’s the pinhole texture of this 100% Polyester fabric that gives this pullover that special look; it definitely keeps you protected from the sun with its UV protection. Or maybe it’s the free-motion stretch infusion that lets you move freely through your swing, no matter how awkward it is. It could also be the extended length zipper which makes this pullover easy to get on and off. The baseball collar and the zippered pocket on the sleeve in a contrasting color are nice touches as well. The Ogio logos on the neck and shoulder leave no doubt as to the brand’s identity. The Spoiler Pullover is available in several colors: Pacific Blue. Hawaiian Blue, Brick, Ink, Mandarin and White/Aurora. Retail price is $75. Get one for yourself and see what makes this pullover so special.

All of the apparel I have seen from Ogio is incredible; not only in the way it looks, but in the technology they use. There polos and bottoms keep you dry and odor free. They fit true to size and the designs are amazing. To see for yourself or to order online go to www.ogio.com/golf/apparel.
