WYNTK
Based in Portland, Ore. PAYNTR Golf was begun by David Paynter, a former professional cricketer and Mike Forsey, an industry executive with experience at several of the leading footwear companies. Building on what was learned making shoes for cricket they felt the global market was ready for a new and innovative golf shoe.

The heart of the X 001 F comfort/performance features is how the combination of the TPU outsole and the cushioning of the foam midsole plus the graphite “Propulsion Plate” work with the unique pattern of nubs on the sole to control the rotational energy of the swing. The design was specifically engineered to help recreational players make more efficient use of ground forces to produce more power.

At present sales are all DTC (direct to consumer) through the PAYNTRGOLF.com website.

Our evaluation is these are very comfortable shoes to wear, and they have loads of lateral support so even the most aggressive swingers will like them. Comparison with competitive shoe models is difficult but PAYNTR’s pricing is in the range of similar performance shoes.
