puma-fall1Back when I was a kid, Puma only made sneakers, and they were my favorite. Now that I am all grown up – in some respects – I gravitate towards their golf apparel. They have some of the boldest and brightest designs and you can’t help but feel good wearing their clothing. Plus, others seem to take notice. This trend continues with the release of their 2016 Fall golf apparel. Here were some of the highlights for me.

Puma’s Tailored Tipped Golf Polo features a three-button placket and contrast collar tipping and, although it may not be able to help you plapuma-fall2y better, it will have you looking better. This polo sports several Puma apparel technologies: the 92% Polyester/8% elastane fabric moves with you throughout your swing and dryCELL provides extreme moisture wicking, ensuring your comfort throughout the round. The UV resistant finish to the fabric keeps you protected from the sun and the embroidered PUMA Cat logo on the left sleeve leaves no doubt as to whose brand you’re wearing. The Men’s Tailored Tipped Golf Polo is available in spuma-fall6izes S-XXL and in several colors: Hawaiian Ocean, Beetroot Purple, Green Gecko, Surf the Web Blue and Black. Retail price is $70.

The men’s GoTime Argyle Golf Polo adds a bit of flair to your golf wardrobe and will have you looking great, even if your game isn’t. It shares many of the same properties as the Tailored Tipped Polo: dryCELL for dryness, great protection from the sun thanks to the UV resistant finish, and the 92% Polyester/8% elastane fabric which moves with you all day long. The argyle graphic on the front is a different look from Puma and the colors it’s available in really make the print stand out. The four-button placket makes this polo easy to get on and off, even in the stickiest of weather. Puma’s 18 Hole Logo on the back of the neck and embroidered Cat logo on the left chest quickly identify the brand. The GoTime Argyle Golf Polo is available in sizes S-XXL and in four colors: Bright White/Surf the Web, Bright white/Hawaiian Ocean, Forest Night and Peacoat. Retail is $65.

Puma’s best apparel technology is on display with their Ice Stripe Golf Polo. There’s Puma’s Dry Cell technology which wicks away sweat and moisture from your body. There’s the UV resistant finish that offers 40+ protection from the sun. The 3-button placket and self-collar give this polo a real sporty look and the print on the front produces a near camouflage look – especially in the Forest Night color. It’s also well-branded; there’s an embroidered Cat logo on the left chest, a rubber Golf badge on the back of the collar and a Dry Cell label on the left hem. The Ice Strpuma-fall3ipe Polo is available in sizes S-XXL and in three colors: Bright White, Quarry and Forest Night. Retail price is $70.

Since what you want to wear on those cold chilly mornings when you have an early tee time probably doesn’t jive with what’s appropriate for the golf course, Puma’s PWR/WARM Elevated Quarter-Zip Golf Top will be a welcomed substitute. The 100% Double-knit polyester fabric and PWRWARM lining work together to keep you warm; the breathable materials help the bopuma-fall4dy retain heat and maximize your body temperature when it’s cold outside. The UPF 50+ UV resistant finish keeps you safely guarded from the sun’s damaging rays while the Raglan sleeve construction helps you to move effortlessly through your swing. The quarter-zip closure allows you to let in or keep out the weapuma-fall5ther as the situation dictates. There’s a zippered pocket on the right chest to keep valuables safe. The contrast colored stitching adds a nice touch while the Puma Cat logo on the left chest leaves no doubt as to your favorite brand. The PWR/WARM Elevated Quarter-Zip Golf Top is available in sizes S-XXL and in five heathered colors: Puma Black, Periscope, Quarry, Forest Night and Surf the Web Blue. Retail price is $80.

For the ladies, Puma has created a two-piece ensemble that will have other golfers turning their heads to get a good look at this good looking outfit. The Bloom Knit Golf Skort and Polo Shirt are crafted from a 92% Polyester/8% elastane fabric, which provides more than enough stretch to move you comfortably through your golf swing from start to finish and the dryCELL properties will keep you dry and comfortable throughout the round. Both pieces provide a UV resistant finish of 40+ UPF, giving you one less thing to worry about. The polo has a 5-button placket and an embroidered Cat logo on the left chest, while the Cat logo on the skort is on the lefpuma-fall7t hem. The all-over floral print on the skort and on the front panel of the polo mesh well together, creating a very daring look. The polo is available in sizes XS – XL and the skort in XXS – XL. Both come in three colors: Puma Black, Glacier Gray and Bright White. The Bloom Polo is $60 and the Bloom Knit Golf Skort $65. A small price to pay for looking so good.

Although the name might imply that this hoodie is suitable for retrieving balls hit in the water, the PWRWARM Scuba Zip-Up Golf Hoodie is all about keeping you warm on the course. Don’t let the “scuba” name scare you off – this hoodie is all golf, through and through. The PWRWARM fabric is designed to keep you warm by retaining body heat and the scuba-style hood delivers the utmost in warmth and protection. The UV resistant finish offers a UPF of 50+, keeping the sun’s harmful rays at bay. The PWRWARM Scuba Zip-Up Golf Hoodie has a full zip closure with zipper garage for chin protection, dual side pockets and a zippered pocket on the left sleeve, providing ample storage space for whatever you have. The Puma Cat logo is proudly displayed on the left cuff. This hoodie is available in sizes XS – XL and in four colors: Beetroot Purple, Quarry, Puma Black and Hawaiian Ocean. Retail price is $80.
