Shot Scope, based in Edinburgh, Scotland, makes and sells a wide selection of GPS watches, laser rangefinders and GPS handhelds and with the new PRO LX+ offering they have combined a laser rangefinder with a GPS yardage device plus club and performance tracking—all in one package.

A common on course scenario might be using the PRO LX laser rangefinder to find out it’s exactly 153 yards to the pin and with the built-in slope correction feature it will play like 151. The H4 GPS tells you its 141 to the middle of the green, 125 to the front and 175 to the back plus you need 120 to clear the creek in front. You decide a 7-iron is the correct club and the tag located in the butt end sends to the H4 it’s a 7-iron. Upon reaching the green tagging the putter captures the 7-iron result and when you finish playing you only need to upload the data using the Shot Scope no fee mobile app to see an analysis of the round.

This pretty much covers it all, just leaving you with the task of hitting the shots.

Users will like the easy-to-handle shape of the PRO LX rangefinder and that the H4 GPS battery Shot Scope says lasts for 15+ hours.

David Hunter CEO of Shot Scope was quoted in the press announcement saying, “2023 has been an exciting year for Shot Scope as we launched a full suite of innovations and truly created an ecosystem for golfers to choose the distance measuring and/or performance tracking product that best fits their game, as well as their budget. The centerpiece of our product lineup is the PRO LX+, a 3-in-1 multi-function system that features advanced distance measuring technology with unprecedented performance tracking.”
