Srixon is working hard to increase its share of the very competitive ball market with the new Z-Star series which has reformulated cores and covers and has already won twice on the PGA Tour this year.

The Z-Star is a lower compression soft-feel ball and for those wanting lots of spin around the greens this would be a good choice. The Z-Star XV is the highest compression-of the three and high swing speed players will get the distance they seek from this tour category ball.

Z-Star Diamond is billed as “the ultimate mix of long-game distance, superior approach shot spin, and greenside control. If you’re looking to hold the green from anywhere on the course, Z-STAR Diamond is your ball of choice.”

All three make use of a “Spin Skin+ Coating” which is a thin urethane paint cover coating to help produce more friction and thus more spin plus it has been made more resistant to dirt for better and longer performance.
