Travis Mathew1 As a golf apparel company, TravisMathew has been increasing its foothold in the industry every year for the past 10 years. Brand Ambassadors from the PGA now include Keegan Bradley, Charlie Hoffman, Stuart Appleby and John Cook. There are a number of non-golfers on the ambassador list as well.

The TravisMathew fit is moderate – not too baggy and not too European. Their designs are understated; nothing that is going to jump out and knock you off your feet. And their color palette is simple: blue is blue, green is green, and so on. You won’t find anything like Lavender Haze, or Crimson Sky Red or Blood of an Englishman Red (OK, I made that last one up. I think.)

This year, TravisMathew offers men’s polos in 7 colors and shorts in 5. That’s more than enough. It’s what they do with these colors that matters and looking over the Spring 2016 collection, what they’ve done is amazing. Solid polos, chest stripes, even some full body stripes, all in subtle undertones that look great and are easy on the eyes.

The TravisMathew website is easy to shop too. Click on Tops and it brings up 50 polos. That’s every model and color available. No clicking on Travis Mathew2an item, picking a color etc. Just pick see it, click it and move on. What could be easier?

Here are some things we liked from the Spring 2016 Collection:
