UNDER ARMOUR – Refreshing Styles for Spring 2017
Once again, UA does not disappoint, with either their women’s or men’s 2017 golf apparel. What’s more, they keep introducing new fabric technology just when you thought there was nowhere else to go. Their Threadborne Polo uses threadborne microthread technology which helps the product dry faster, resist clinging to you and won’t stretch or chafe without absorbing sweat. The cut is a little fuller, which not only adds to the comfort but should appeal to more men and women who viewed Under Armour’s apparel in the past as a little on the snug side. The 4-way stretch fabric allows greater mobility and doesn’t pinch or bind where it’s not supposed to. UA’s Moisture Transport system keeps sweat off the body for quick evaporation and their anti-odor technology prevents odor causing microbes from taking root. A 2-button placket gives this polo a crisp, clean look and an iridescent foil logo let’s everyone around know who’s brand you’re sporting. The Threadborne Polo is available in sizes S-XXXL and in black, blue gray or white. Retail price is $79.99.

UA’s CoolSwitch Upright Polo uses a proprietary coating on the inside that pulls heat away from your skin, making you actually feel cool and allows you to play better (or as well as you can) longer. It too has a looser fit and the Moisture Transport System which keeps you dry. The 30+ UPF fabric keeps you safe from the sun’s harmful rays and the anti-odor technology helps keep members of the opposite sex from backing away. Like the Threadborne Polo, it has a 2-button placket and iridescent logo. Retail price is $79.99 and it’s available in S-XXXL and 6 different colors.

The Men’s Match Play Vented Tapered Shorts have a stretch-engineered waistband which offers extreme comfort and superior mobility. They’re crafted from a breathable mesh body fabric which is highly durable and offers great breathability. The Moisture Transport System keeps your lower half feeling dry. The flat-front, 5-pocket design has a classic golf look and the embroidered UA Logo below the left pocket identifies the brand. The Match Play Vented Tapered Shorts are available in waist sizes 28 – 44 and in Academy, Blue Marker and Steel colors. Retail price is $69.99.

The threadborne technology carries over into Under Armour’s pants with the Threadborne Tour Golf Pants. The loose fit lets you take a full swing without worry and the stretch-engineered waistband provides unparalleled comfort. Anti-microbial agents in the fabric keep you smelling fresh and the moisture wicking properties keep you dry during and after your round. The back pockets are large enough for the biggest if scorecards and deep enough to keep your valuables safe and secure. The front pockets are ample size with an extra internal pocket on the left side that will accommodate most smartphones. The Threadborne Tour Golf Pants are available in waist sizes 30-42 and in either Academy or True Gray Heather. Retail price is $99.99.

Under Armour takes great care of the ladies too with a complete line of golf apparel. The Zinger Sleeveless Polo fits snugly next to the skin without any pinching or binding and the soft anti-pill, anti-pick fabric offers a clean, snag-free finish. The 4-way stretch fabric gives ladies the free range of motion they need, regardless of how uncanny their golf swing may be. There’s the same Under Armour technology in the ladies’ garments as the men; the Moisture Transport System keeps you dry, the 30+ UPF protects your skin and the anti-microbial properties keep you smelling as fresh as you did on the first tee. The 5-button placket lets ladies get as much or as little sun as they like and the self-collar adds a clean look. The double stitched seem up the back that frames the UA embroidered logo adds a unique look. The Zinger Sleeveless Polo is available in sizes S-XL and in 9 colors. Retail price is $54.99

Every great top deserves a great bottom and Under Armour’s new Links Knit Skort certainly fits the bill. This fitted piece sits snug to the skin without any pinching or binding due in part to the lightweight stretch construction of the fabric. This super-soft performance knit garment delivers lasting comfort and the pleated woven back panel and built-in compression shorts inspire confidence and support. UA’s signature Moisture Transport System wicks sweat to keeping you dry throughout the day. Open hand pockets in front and a zippered back pocket provide ample room for all of your golf course essentials; there’s also a hidden storage pocket in the waistband. The Links Knit Skort is available in sizes XS-XXXL and in ten different colors including some real eye-catchers. Retail price is $69.99.

New this year is a women’s Crew Sweater. It’s made from imported Merino wool and is luxuriously soft to the touch. The moisture wicking properties see to it that you stay dry and comfortable during your round and the fit sits next to the skin with no squeeze. This sweater features a classic crew neck ribbed collar, cuffs, shoulders and back panel, providing a unique yet stunning look. The Crew Sweater is available in sizes XS-XL and in three colors: Mediterranean, Carbon Heather and Ivory. Retail price is $99.99.
