Zero Friction has long been known for their extensive offering of golf gloves featuring a Universal Fit model that we like and have used since it came out. More recently the innovative Stride cart/bag has attracted a lot of attention and though they have had a line of 2-piece distance balls they now are adding a “Tour” ball, the Victory.

In talking with owner John Iacono, company founder and CEO, he said early response from retailers has been almost overwhelming and expectations are the Victory will carve out a reliable spot in the hypercompetitive ball market. Realistically he’s not expecting to take over from Titleist’s Pro V1 or Callaway’s Chrome Soft, but it wouldn’t be surprising if this new premium quality ball develops its own niche.
