Cleveland Golf has announced their latest game-improvement irons the Launcher XL with a high MOI hollow body in the lower lofts and cavity back short irons.

Filling out Cleveland’s line for next year the Launcher XL irons are targeted for those wanting some help with their game and don’t need all the benefits of a super game-improvement category such as their recently announced Launcher XL HALO model.

“The new Cleveland Launcher XL Irons provide a new XL head design with a large high MOI and confidence inspiring shape that results in more greens in regulation,” said Dustin Brekke, Director of Engineering at Cleveland Golf. “MainFrame technology faces are optimized with AI to guarantee shots all over the face maintain distance and precision, while Action Mass CB, with a counterbalance weight in the grip end, helps players get on the correct swing plane while increasing head speed for distance. All in all, Cleveland Launcher XL Irons deliver a pin seeking iron for shooting your lowest scores.”

The Launcher XL have the highest resistance to twisting at impact or MOI of any iron they have ever produced, 3081 g-cm2 in the 7-iron contrasting with the HALO model that has is reported to have 2,908 g-cm2.

Cleveland also offers an “Accuracy Build” is an option with ½-inch shorter shafts and no counterbalance weight.
