Roadside Attractions, the leading distributor of independent film, will release Tommy’s Honour, a new feature film sure to set the standard for golf films, past and present. The film captures the powerfully moving true story of the challenging relationship between Old Tom Morris, played by BAFTA Scotland winner Peter Mullan (WAR HORSE, TRAINSPOTTING), and Young Tommy Morris, played by Jack Lowden (’71, DUNKIRK), whose performance has him in line for multiple globally recognized awards.
The golfing world reveres the legendary talent and accomplishments of the Morris’, the father son team who collectively ushered in the modern game of golf. Tommy’s Honour will be theatrically released in approximately 32 cities on Friday, April 14, 2017, including in large markets such as Los Angeles, New York and Chicago, as well as in golf rich areas like Palm Springs, CA, Monterey, CA and Phoenix, AZ. This highly moving film has received a PG rating, making it a film the entire family can enjoy.
