LOHLA SPORT Meets James Bond

What do James Bond and a premium ladies’ golf-lifestyle apparel brand have in common?

Nothing on the surface, unless you’re Lisa O’Hurley.

The Founder and CEO of LOHLA SPORT has created the new autumn-winter “007 Collection” of flattering and subtly flirtatious clothes inspired by the dashing Scottish actor, the late Sean Connery, who starred in seven agent 007 James Bond films.

You see, the two teed it up together at Sherwood Country Club, north of Los Angeles.  His presence had such an impact on O’Hurley, she designed coordinated tops, bottoms, outerwear and accessories in a classic Bond Girl aesthetic.

As such, 007 typifies feminine, daring, elegant, sophisticated and alluring looks on and off the golf course.  Combine that with what makes LOHLA SPORT famous in the first place – classy European designs with L.A. flair – and we have golf shops, women’s boutiques and lady golfers buying 007 faster than James Bond and his Bond Girls on a speed boat off the coast of Monaco.

In taking the names of famous James Bond movies, statement-making 007 capsules converge swanky fashion and action-packed lifestyles:

  • Skyfall – Transitions dramatically from Spring to Fall with bright Flyboy and Aurora colors for awe-inspiring looks. The Skyfall print is lively and fun while the weather is still warm.
  • Diamonds are Forever – Plays up the new neutrals taking center stage on the catwalk with the popular Golf Fitness Pull-On Pant in a mocha tone and the debut of The Bond Girl Jacket in a rich Fall hue that is cozy on the course and helps fight off assassins.
  • For Your Eyes Only – Fuses the color of the season, fuscia – “lipstick” in LOHLA SPORT parlance – and cocktail orange with black and white bases for a dramatic entry to Fall.
  • Casino Royale – Takes the brand’s classic red, white and navy group on turn for the Nordic as Alpine ski inspirations abound in All-American coloring. Seize the day on the course (or perhaps gaming at the tables) with two printed skorts or pair them with tights and boots for winter.
  • Golden Eye – Details white and peacock (dark teal) outfits with rich, gold trims, perfect for being the Bond-like hero or villainess during group rounds of golf this Fall and pre-holiday.

“Playing golf with Sean was 100% fun,” O’Hurley says.  “From that day. I knew I’d create a refined Bond-esque collection for women who love classy-meets-sporty looks.  Our 007 designs pack star power yet are timeless.  Every piece makes you reimagine yourself in true Bond Girl style.”

In sizes XXS to XXL, refined cuts are pleasing to the eye yet not overtly sexy, made of fine-quality fabrics sourced worldwide and optimize athletic movements.

Let’s not forget golf.  007 sticks to LOHLA SPORT’s universal, comfortable-chic, made-for-play DNA.  Its style melds splendidly with the brand’s staple The Golf Fitness Pull-On Pant and The Very Pant, two of the most popular bottoms in women’s golf.

Connery would be proud.  Very proud.
